Cornerstones for a Healthy Life, Part Four
Honor that to which you are committed. Take great care of your own grass. Don’t carry rocks in your pockets. Learn to manage ambiguity. Fish with a child who never has. Eat a huge piece of pie. Quit worrying about everything. Never stop building, no matter what. Make the time and do it. Assist someone you have never met. Learn how economics works. Clean out your closets, and throw. Know: the past belongs to history now. Create efficiency. Save your change…it adds up. Read the owner’s manual for your car. Slow dance in your living room. Help restore someone’s confidence. Seek the value in common sense. Change something you know is wrong. Walk to the store, like the old days. Focus on the holiday, not the day off. Put together a difficult puzzle. Make dinner at home for a whole month. Develop your memory (it can be done). Join a service organization. Write a “thank you” note to someone. Stretch your muscles every morning. Carry a friend when they need it. Understand cause and effect. Think of the other side of the argument. Write your life’s mission statement. Diversify. Avoid traffic as much as possible. Spend a day with those who have nothing. Look up to the clouds and reflect. Bask in the freedom you have been given.
